- 10 medium apples about 3 pounds * I used cortland apples
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Peel, core, and chop apples into 1-2 inch chunks. Make sure they are all around the same size for even cooking.
Combine all ingredients into slow cooker. Cook for 4-5 hours on low. Mine cooked for 5 hours but check at around 4 hours.
Using a potato masher mash apples till desired consistency. You can add a little more cider if needed. Serve warm or chilled.
