    Make-ahead Meal Plan Weekly Food Prep

    Hey everyone! I hope you had a great holiday weekend. My entire weekend was filled with family, friends, and fun! I did get a burst of energy to get my meal plan done yesterday but then I was persuaded otherwise when one of my friends call me up and invited me to a party. Don’t have to ask me twice. Anyway, that’s why my meal plan is a day late.

    But…today I was a meal prepping machine. I feel like I haven’t gone grocery shopping in weeks so I started my day by planning out our meals then I headed to the grocery. After that I spent the rest of the day prepping food and taking videos. I made 5 recipe and “how to” videos today!! I spent about 8 hours cooking, video taping, and taking pictures. And I still have more to do tomorrow. Sometimes I feel like I could work 24/7 for a month straight and still have a million things left to do. But I can’t complain because it was quite relaxing. I had country music playing in the background and worked away on all my recipes.

    Okay, let’s get right to my meal plan because it’s late, I’m exhausted, and I want to get this posted so I can move onto video editing.

    Breakfast

    Detox Green Smoothie

    Make-ahead tips

    • I put together freezer smoothie kits (look for a video on this soon). Also, I made a couple of smoothies and stored them in mason jars in the refrigerator.

    Lunch

    Fresh Mozzarella, Pasta, and Spinach Mason Jar Salad

    Turkey Bacon Ranch Wraps

    • I made the bacon today for the wraps.
    • I made the salads today. If you have questions please see my mason jar salad tutorial.

    Mid-afternoon Snack

    1/4 cup raw almonds

    Make-ahead tips

    • I’ll put together snack bags tomorrow.

    Dinner

    Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken (I will eat this in lettuce wraps and make a Buffalo mac n cheese later in the week)

    No Mayo Chicken Salad Lettuce Wraps – will eat this a couple nights

    No Mayo Tuna Salad Lettuce Wraps – will eat this a couple nights

    Blueberry and Strawberry Spinach Salad with Feta – new recipe

    Make-ahead tips

    • I made the slow cooker chicken and no mayo chicken today.
    • Tuna salad will be made tomorrow.
    • Spinach salad will be made the day of or I might make a couple mason jar salads.

    Here’s everything in the refrigerator.

      Do you find that you can get your smoothies that you make ahead back to normal once they’ve separated a bit waiting in the fridge?

        I wouldn’t say they taste exactly like when I first blend them – the consistency is different. However, that doesn’t bother me so I drink them anyway. I know that might bother some. Give it a try and see what you think. I compare it to the thinner smoothies you purchase in the grocery store.
