Sausage Meatloaf with Peppers & Onions

This sausage meatloaf with peppers and onions is juicy and filled with flavor. It’s everything you love about the Italian American Classic but formed into a tasty, healthy meatloaf recipe.

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. While the oven is heating up, cook the veggies.

Step 2: Place the cooked veggies into a large bowl and set them aside to cool.

Step 3: After the veggies cool, add in the ground turkey, sausage, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, spices, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, 1 cup of shredded cheese, and 1/2 cup of the sauce.

Step 4: Mix all of the ingredients until combined.

Step 5: Place the meat mixture  on a rimmed baking pan coated with cooking spray and form it into a loaf and spread on the sauce.

Step 6: Bake for 60 – 65 minutes. Take it out of the oven and sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top. Broil for a couple of minutes until the cheese melts.

Step 7: Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
