Equipment

  • Apple corer
  • Apple peeler (if needed)

Ingredients

  • 1 apple Use your favorite variety
  • juice from half of a lemon
  • 2 tablespoons organic creamy peanut butter use your favorite nut butter
  • 2 tablespoon organic granola
  • 4 teaspoons favorite toppings dried cranberries, raisins, goji berries, cacao nibs, unsweetened shredded coconut, or a mix of your favorite toppings

Instructions

  • Cut the top off the apple and then cut into 4 slices. If you're using an apple corer, remove the core first and then cut it into slices.
  • Squirt the lemon juice over the apple slices. This helps to reduce the browning. If the apple slices are too wet from the lemon juice then use a paper towel to pat dry.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter on one apple slice and top with 1 tablespoon granola and 2 teaspoons of your favorite toppings. Top with a second apple slice and enjoy. Repeat the steps with the last two apple slices.
