- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ cup hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
- 1 bunch green onion sliced
- A couple dashes Sriracha Asian chili pepper sauce, more to taste
- shredded carrots
In a medium pan, heat olive oil on medium high, and cook turkey until it is cooked through and there is no pink, about 7-8 minutes.
Stir in onion powder, garlic powder, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
Stir in sirracha and green onion. Cook until green onion is wilted.
Serve in lettuce cups with extra Sriracha and shredded carrots.

The turkey filling can be made completely ahead of time and frozen or kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Warm up and eat with lettuce wraps.
