Notes

Make ahead and storage tips

To make ahead

This strawberry mango smoothie can be made 1-2 days in advance and store using glass mason jars in the fridge. The consistency will change, but the flavor will stay the same. It’s a feasible option if you want this smoothie ready to grab in the morning. Give it a couple of vigorous shakes before drinking the smoothie.

To freeze

There are two ways to freeze strawberry mango smoothies.
First, place all of the ingredients (minus the liquid) into a freezer bag or mason jar to create a freezer kit. In the morning, dump the ingredients into a high-speed blender, add the milk, and blend until smooth.
Second, fill silicone trays with the blended smoothie. The night before, add some cubes to a mason jar with a tightly fitting lid. In the morning, give it a few shakes or add it to the blender quickly. The consistency won’t be the same as a freshly blended smoothie, but it’s still a viable option when you want smoothies made ahead of time.
