I love productive weekends, don’t you? If I make it to Sunday night and have the laundry done, house somewhat clean, food prepared for the week, and my menu plan complete then I am one happy mom! This of course does not happen as often as I would like but for right now I will savor in my victories.
This week’s menu plan was put together solely on the food left in my pantry and freezer. I need to use up what I have now because next weekend is going to be a medium to large freezer and batch cooking session.
Also, starting next week, instead of posting a menu plan every week I am going create and post a monthly menu plan. You can expect the master menu plan to be posted by the beginning of the month then each week I will offer a grocery list and make ahead instructions based on the meals for that week. Additionally, it is my goal to offer the calories for each set of meals per day for those of us trying to lose or maintain our weight.
Who is thinking I am insane right now?
Well to be honest trying to make a menu plan every week was making me crazy. I do not have the time or mental stamina to think about my menu plan every week so I am going to give this a shot. Doing it this way I predict will save me time, energy, and keep me on track with eating healthy.
