Chipotle Chicken Marinade

This chipotle marinade is sweet, smokey, perfectly spicy, and brings grilled chicken to a whole new level!

Ingredients
  • 7 ounce can chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ salt
  • ¼ pepper
  • ¼ cup cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 3-4 chicken breasts
Instructions
  1. Add all of the marinade ingredients into the blender (or food processor) and blend.
  2. Place the chicken into a ziploc bag of glass meal prep container and then pour the chipotle marinade over top. Let the chicken marinade for at least an hour, 2-3 if possible, and overnight is preferred.
  3. Cook on a hot clean grill over medium high heat for 5-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165ยบ.
