Organize Yourself Skinny 4 Week Make Ahead and Freeze Menu Plan

Organize Yourself Skinny Make Ahead and Freeze Menu Plan. 29 Healthy Family Friendly Freezer Cooking Recipes

THIS MENU PLAN HAS BEEN RETIRED! But no worries a new one is coming very very soon!!!

In the past, when it came to planning out my meals, I frequently used the “fly by the seat of my pants” method – you know the method. Well, this “method” led me to eating lots of take out and prepackaged food which eventually resulted in an extra 50 pounds on my 5ft 3in frame. Not good.

I started menu planning and making ahead my meals over 2 years ago and I can honestly say these two methods completely changed my life. These methods help me become intentional with my foods and because of this I am now down 32 pounds. I still have another 18 pounds to go but I feel confident that it can be done with the systems I put in place.

Creating a menu plan is one of the first strategies I suggest to people when being asked for tips on eating healthy and losing weight. A menu plan essentially organizes your meals and becomes a road map to the foods you are going to eat each week. This gives you better control over your portions, calories, and nutrition. Not to mention, it reduces the stress of figuring out what to eat every day.

Most menu plans available just provide you with recipes. While this works for some people I have found that for a menu plan to be functional and successful – especially for busy parents – it needs to provide information on prepping the recipes ahead of time. The Organize Yourself Skinny 4 Week Menu Plan does just that! I will provide you not only with delicious recipes but I will also give you the instructions to make each one of them ahead of time.

Even though you can find many recipes and simple menu plans on my blog Organize Yourself Skinny I know a lot of you want (and need) something more comprehensive and detailed. This is why I created a 4 week Make Ahead Menu Plan that completely walks you through the process. I feel that these menu plans are the next best thing to having me right alongside you in the kitchen.

Feedback from readers who purchased my menu plan:

“So I pretty much fell in love with your 4 Week Freezer Meal plan that I purchased over the weekend. I seriously DO NOT like to cook, but I totally enjoyed the process with your easy plan… don’t I sound like a commercial? Ha! I was wondering if you were planning on making additional 4 week plans? I love the easy shopping list and directions and the ENTIRE thing!!!!

Plus my family loved the meals and my fat pants are giving a huge sigh of relief!”

  1. I want to buy this plan, but when I click on Add to Cart, all I get is a link to Pinterest. What am I doing wrong?

    • That is really odd. Let me look into that and get back to you shortly. Thanks so much for letting me know.

    • Okay I just fixed it. Something was weird with my Pinterest button I was using. Thanks again for letting me know I had no idea!

  2. Hi,
I want to start dieting and one of my problems is that I have a long day, I get up at 4:00 am to start work at 6 am and don’t get home till about 5-5:30 pm, It makes for a long day.
It makes for a large gap between meals and it seems that is all I think about is my next meal….. lol
    Any suggestions.

    • I would suggest a prep day on Sat. or Sunday to make all you lunches and a few freezer dinner meals. I also make healthy breakfast burrito’s that freeze great and you microwave for about 1.5 minutes….breakfast DONE! The mason jar salads on this blog are awesome and last all week…and travel well for work. Also, make up your snacks, to help curb your hunger between meals. Granola, pre measured in ziplock bags, almonds are great too. Pack a lunch cooler with hummus and veggies, greek yogurt with chopped fruit and agave. It does take some planning, but once you start….you will LOVE it. I would much rather spend two hours in the kitchen on Sunday and Sat, than struggle through the week. Good luck!

  3. I am so excited I found this website. I need someone to just flat out tell me what to do for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and provide a shopping list-and not charge me $900.00. It even includes food everyone in my family will eat. Thank you so very much.

  4. Megan Jones says:

How often will you offer the montly menu? Is there a new one every month?

  5. I’ve been yo-yo dieting for years now and I recently gained 20 lbs I worked so hard to lose. I always knew my problem was preparation. There are other meal plans out there but none seemed to fit was I was looking for; to lose weight, eat healthy, save money etc. In looking for a healthy once-a-month meal plan I stumbled across your site that has exactly what I am looking for and so much more. I am so excited to try this. Thanks!

  6. I just got your 4 Week Make Ahead Menu Plan and am excited to give it a try. Are you going to do any future ones with some of the new recipes you’ve worked with?

  7. Is this for cooking the four weeks all at once? Or for cooking once a week?

  8. I am lactose intolerant do you have any meals without cheese and milk?

  9. Is this plan easily used by someone living alone — or will I be tempted to eat more of the family friendly recipe?

    Thanks!

  10. I am very interested in your meal planning and was wondering if you had any plans for vegetarian/vegan diets. I am allergic to all mammal products but can have fish and fowl. Can you help a girl out?

    Hi Tammy,

I just purchased your 4 week meal plan and am shopping for week 2 today. I have a question about the breakfast burritos though, how many servings does it provide and what do I use for the wraps? Tortillas I’m assuming, but it’s missing from the ingredients list.

Love your blog, thanks for all the great information!!

    Lori
