Weekly Family Friendly Weight Loss Menu Plan

This past week I lost 1.5 pounds keeping my diet between 1300 – 1500 calories a day. I really never try to lose more than that because then I feel my menu becomes too restrictive and I start feeling deprived which is never good for anyone. I have 9 lbs to go to reach a healthy BMI (body mass index) and because I am so close to meeting this goal my menu will continue to reflect the same daily caloric intake. Please note the calories for each day are not listed completely right now but I will work to get all them listed in the next couple days. I am also cooking up some new recipes this week so I will get them posted by the weekend as well.

Tips for preparing menu plan ahead of time.

Cook and freeze meatballs (there will be a video coming to show this in action)

Cook and store in the fridge Buffalo chicken filling for wraps, bean and rice mixture, and hard boiled eggs.

The chicken curry is already frozen and waiting in the freezer. However if you do not have this meal frozen (which I am thinking you don’t) then it can be made ahead of time and frozen since we won’t be eating it till later in the week. Rice can be cooked and store in the fridge.
